Meet Rouje
Our favourite French fashion label was founded by style icon Jeanne Damas, a French designer, muse, model, and creative director. Jeanne directs and reinvents her dream wardrobe season after season: clothes designed by women, for women. Along with accessories and a beauty line, her brand highlights a woman’s own personal style and lets them express their femininity freely.
Damas's designs are inspired by women she knows: her mother, those she knew as a child, and those she observed in her neighbour's atelier. "I'm fascinated by the styles of the women around me: how they walk, move, speak or wear their clothes." It echoes the personal style of Jeanne: Rouje’s signature silhouette is a mix of delicate dresses and menswear jackets, floral prints and chunky knits, 90’s mules and croco-like ankle boots.
