Postcards from Greece: The Missoma Summer Club with Lucy Williams

Last month we headed to Villa Figari at The Peligoni Club to celebrate ten years of our collaboration with Lucy Williams. Yes, you heard that right – ten years of creating the iconic jewellery pieces you love. A one-of-a-kind Greece Getaway, let's go behind the scenes on the most magical few days in Zakynthos.

The trip was hosted by Lucy Williams, who brought along close friends for sun, sea, and all the stacking. Greece was the word from the start; it's a place extremely close to Lucy's heart thanks to her frequent travels to the country – so much so, she got married on the island of Andros. Truly the perfect place to celebrate Lucy and the collaboration, and to enjoy lizarding season (of course).

Villa Figari at The Peligoni Club

We stayed in the most stunning sun-drenched villa, which sits at the most southerly point of the Ionian Islands. Under the cloudless azure skies of the unspoilt coastline, the infinity pool blended into the turquoise Ionian Sea.

We whiled away the days on the Moroccan-style day beds, reading in rooms decorated with ancient Cycladic artefacts, or enjoying the private sea access at the bottom of the cliff. The most cinematic and beautiful place to call home (can we go back immediately?).

When it came to dining on delights – from a beautiful breakfast on the terrace, to Mexican-inspired dinners, and feasting at the modern taverna Mikro Nisi – The Peligoni Club had it all. While it's incredibly family-friendly, it really is for everyone.

All Aboard

A highlight of our trip (despite the rocky waves) was our boat trip. The Odyssey is an amazing experience you can take right from The Peligoni Club – and the perfect way to explore the island and the Zakynthian coastline. We boarded the bespoke 55ft wooden kaiki-style yacht, built in the Peloponnese in the early 70’s, before diving into the bright blue waters of the Ionian Sea. There was a delicious lunch and refreshing beverages – everything about it was unforgettable.
