This collaboration donation period has now ended – please visit smartworks.org.uk to see how you can help them further.
We’re super excited to announce that we’re continuing our partnership with Smart Works, with a limited-edition jewellery piece you can now shop online. This collaboration is in celebration of the women’s charity’s 10-year-anniversary, and part of the Smart Works Capsule Collection by Isabel Spearman — alongside other iconic British fashion brands, from ME+EM, RIXO, Lisou to Jigsaw.
For each pair of our new Twisted Medium Hoop Earrings sold, we’ll be donating 25% of the RRP (ex.VAT) to help empower unemployed women in the workplace and champion communities.
Behind the Capsule
Our founder Marisa stars – alongside other incredible female founders – in the Smart Works' 10-year-anniversary Capsule Collection campaign. So, what is the Capsule Collection? As we've said, it's in celebration of Smart Works’ 10th birthday, but also their recent expansion into 11 UK centres. It brings together 11 renowned British, female-founded fashion brands to raise vital funds and awareness in support of the charity’s mission to help unemployed women into work.
Did we mention it's the perfect way to nail your Autumnal dressing? The full line-up of brands includes Albaray, ALIGNE, Camilla Elphick, Cefinn, Jigsaw, Lisou, ME+EM, Missoma, RIXO, TBCo and VARLEY. Yep, we’re in very good company.
Helming the capsule, Isabel Spearman is a longstanding Smart Works Ambassador and founder of the Daily Dress Edit. She has carefully curated wardrobe essentials designed to take you into the new work season – and bring together a powerful community of supporters, united in their desire to help empower women into employment.
The fashion and jewellery worlds have aligned with all the brands involved (including us!) making a generous commitment to support Smart Works in helping unemployed women across the UK. 25% of RRP (ex. VAT) will go to Smart Works for every piece sold from the Capsule Collection.
As a female-founded and majority female-run brand, we too believe in female empowerment through collaboration, creativity and confidence. We’re excited to be continuing our support of Smart Works and helping even more women achieve their dreams.
– Marisa Hordern, Founder & Creative Director
About Smart Works
Smart Works is a dynamic, high profile and fast-growing UK charity that dresses and coaches unemployed women for success at their job interview. They empower women by giving them the clothes and the confidence they need to succeed.
A very fun fact, indeed: after visiting Smart Works, 69% of clients secure a job within a month, gaining financial independence and transforming their lives. Over the past ten years, Smart Works has helped over 32,000 women; their new mission is to double the number of women helped annually from 5,000 to 10,000 women a year. Now that’s maths we can get behind.
Against a landscape of the cost-of-living crisis and the aftermath of the pandemic, the charity’s support is needed more than ever before.
At Smart Works we believe in using fashion as a force for good, and harnessing this philosophy to help women to feel their best selves at a crucial moment, ready to excel in her interview and get the job. From pieces for our clients, to helping raise vital funds through the Smart Works Capsule Collection, Missoma’s generous support will help us reach more unemployed women."
